For these works, Erik Kessels has collaborated with London based artist Jonathan Ellery. For a period of 2 years, Kessels and Ellery have collected Scrap Metal and shared the fascination of the aesthetic quality of their found materials.
Kessels has re-appropriated these unique metal pieces with photographs from his vernacular collection of scrapbook images.
