For Festival ULTRA in Prato, Erik Kessels has created a very typical ‘walking’ exhibition; a street gallery with photographs exhibited especially for your dog. You can take your best four-legged friend on a tour through the streets of Prato. And in turn, they can enjoy photographs of their own kind on their own level. Kessels selected these photos from his own archive of vernacular images. This outdoor and site-specific exhibition is of course particularly interesting for dogs but can be equally enjoyed by humans. The only obstacle being that they might have to kneel down to enjoy this ‘Walk the Dog Gallery’.
